Graduate Logistics Assistant
We are seeking a Logistics Assistant to co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Logistics Department. If you are an organized team player and able to work independently in a demanding environment - then we want to hear from you
Our client is a globally operating formwork company with years of experience delivering tailored formwork solutions for its customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assists in co-ordination of transport and deliveries.
- Assists in co-ordination with off staff - Stock availability, data quality and returns.
- Coordinate effectively with Yard regarding stock, adjustments and stock take.
- Assists in local Procurement - placing purchase orders, co-ordination with suppliers.
- Other duties/projects as assigned, including participating in company committees/teams.
- Complies with all company and compliance policies, guidelines and business practices, insuring safe working practices and environment.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
- Experience in administration or operations preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Advanced Excel required.
- Willing to learn new systems, products and techniques.
- Organized team player able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
