Job Title: Dental Receptionist

Location: Urmston, M41 5AN

**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly greet patients upon arrival and schedule appointments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and take messages.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist patients with completing necessary paperwork and updating contact information.
- Confirm appointments and provide appointment reminders to patients.
- Coordinate with dental team members and assist in optimizing appointment schedules.
- Calculate and collect patient payments, processing insurance claims when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Stay current with office procedures and dental policies.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and team members.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software, SOE
- Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance policies is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanour under pressure.
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
