**The Role**
This role will be based in our offices in Livingston planning & coordinating the provision of a national service contract for our primary client Openreach.
**Job Purpose**
To effectively coordinate the business resources - direct labour & sub-contractors, to fulfil the Openreach required contract services safely, in line with all regulatory checks and restrictions, on time and to an agreeable accepted standard as set by the business management and the client whilst maximising productivity and utilisation and maintaining job profitability
**Principal** **Accountabilities**
- Manage the client specific electronic business portal to obtain work requirements.
- Collaborate & communicate with client, management and necessary authorities to plan works in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Review provided work pack documentation.
- Prioritise job assignment and assign appropriate resources according to competence and geography.
- Ensure all safety, operational and regulatory considerations are addressed prior to commencement of works.
- Ensure work packs provide full and clear information & instruction for the scheduled works.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and direct resources to distribute and allocate work.
- Collate completed work information and process data on appropriate systems in a timely manner
- Ensure client jobs are managed from start to finish maintaining regular communication and providing updates to client.
- Produce meaningful contract and client reports.
- Maintain good client relations.
- Interact effectively with head office support service functions.
- Any other tasks or responsibilities required by management or identified during the development of the role.
**The Person** **Qualifications**
- Educated to standard grade level or equivalent.
**Knowledge & Experience**
- Good UK geographic knowledge.
- Excellent IT skills including an adept knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word & Excel
- Database experience
