CNC Vertical Machining Centre Setter/operator

We are looking for a Vertical Machining Centre Setter/Operator to join our team in Manchester. As a VMC Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up milling machines to manufacture precision components. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and copper.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC VMCs to produce precision components according to specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments to the machines
- Work with team members to troubleshoot and solve problems with machines and processes
- Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a VMC Setter/Operator with experience in CNC machining
- Ideally experienced on Hurco or Doosan machines
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication skills

The salary offered will be between £13 and £16 per hour dependent on experience.
