**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking graduate students from Derbyshire area to join our team for exciting opportunities within the education sector. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to gain experience as a teaching assistant or a supply teacher, stepping in to cover lessons when teachers are absent.

We are looking for a passionate, kind, and dedicated individual who has a genuine desire to work with children and positively impact their learning journeys. As a supply teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons set by the absent teacher, managing classroom activities, and ensuring all students remain on task. You will provide assistance and support to students to the best of your ability, helping them succeed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the class, ensuring all students stay engaged and on track with the assigned work.
- Offer support and guidance to students as needed.
- Follow the lesson plan provided by the absent teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour policy.
- Encourage creativity and participation among students.
- Adapt to the needs of the school as required.
- Build strong rapport with staff members.
- Adhere to all school policies.
- Serve as a positive role model for students.
- Collect and return all completed work to the appropriate person after the lesson.
- Report any incidents or behaviour difficulties as necessary.
