Bookkeeper

**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software or systems as needed.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role is essential.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
- Strong numerical skills with a commitment to accuracy in all financial reporting.
- Previous experience in NHS GP finances would be desirable.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
