Position Overview: Le Fez Nightclub is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Door Picker/Host to join our team. As a Door Picker/Host, you will play a crucial role in providing a welcoming and safe environment for our guests while maintaining the club's standards and ensuring a smooth entry process. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a strong presence, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.

**Responsibilities**:
Greeting and Welcoming Guests: Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanour as they arrive at the nightclub.
Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere by engaging in polite conversation and creating a positive first impression.

Ensuring Guest Safety: Maintain a vigilant eye for potential security risks or individuals who may pose a threat to the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Identify and handle any disturbances or conflicts in a calm and effective manner, following club protocols and procedures.

Managing Guest Entry: Verify guests' identification and age to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
Check guest reservations, guest lists, and tickets to confirm entry eligibility and provide appropriate wristbands or stamps.
Collect cover charges and enforce club policies regarding entry fees.

Crowd Control:Manage the flow of guests to prevent overcrowding and maintain a comfortable environment.
Ensure guests adhere to dress code policies and code of conduct.
Collaborate with security personnel to maintain order and handle any disruptive or unruly behavior.

Providing Information:Answer guests' questions regarding club facilities, events, promotions, and any other inquiries.
Assist guests in finding their way within the club and direct them to various areas, such as the dance floor, bar, or restrooms.

Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest concerns, complaints, or special requests.
Handle difficult or challenging situations with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic security and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with the nightclub industry, events, and trends.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£16.00 per hour
