TRC is looking for Production Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis, for our well-established client based in Gateshead
- **PERMANENT DAY SHIFT**

**The Company**:
My client is very high-end door manufacturer looking for Production Operatives for their production warehouse based in Gateshead. They take pride in their quality-made products that are supplied to customers throughout the UK. There are numerous positions available for people who are looking for a long-term role in a hands-on production environment.

**The Role**:

- Pay rate - £9.50 per hour.
- Day shift - 6:45 - 15.15.
- Immediate Starts are available.
- Overtime.
- Own transport is preferred, however, Buses run from Concord - Gateshead between 5:32 am - 11:30 pm with a cost of £1.70 there and back.

You will be at the beginning and the end of the whole manufacturing process while supplying quality doors to thousands of customers throughout the UK. There are also many other roles available from working as a general warehousing operative to working with air tools to attach components for a range of different size doors. You must be aware this is a very hands-on role and heavy lifting will be required. There will be a 2-day induction which will only take place on the day shift, where you will be able to shadow a senior member of staff who will guide you into the role.

**About You**:

- Experience gained within an assembly-style production environment, but not essential.
- Manual handling experience of heavy loads is required as there will be some lifting.
- A proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to work effectively in a busy, target-driven environment.
- A reasonable level of numeracy and literacy and good communication skills are required, with the ability to follow written & verbal instruction.
