We are seeking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to work with teachers to support the teaching and learning of individuals or small groups of children under the direction of the teaching staff.

**Job purpose - General Teaching Assistant**
- Work with teaching staff to support teaching and learning by working with individuals or small groups of pupils, under the direction of teaching staff.
- May be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.
- May work in the classroom or approved location within the school.
- Access to support and guidance as required
- Work with children who have a range of SEND.
- To undertake specific work with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

**Job purpose - Midday Supervisory Assistant
- Be responsible for the safety, welfare and good behaviour of children at lunch time
- Prepare the tables in preparation for lunch
- Assist in cleaning after lunch
