**About the client**:
Our client, is a leading medical practice located in Congleton, dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services. With a team of highly skilled medical professionals, they are committed to delivering personalized and compassionate care, utilizing the latest advancements in medical techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for their patients. Their unwavering focus on patient safety, comfort, and recovery sets them apart as a trusted provider in the healthcare community

**Hours of work**:

- **Monday-Friday between 18:00 - 21:00, totalling 15 hours per week.**_

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Thoroughly disinfect and sanitise medical equipment, surfaces, and patient rooms.
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
- Properly handle and dispose of medical waste according to guidelines.
- Clean and sanitise public areas like waiting rooms, restrooms, and corridors.
- Perform specialised cleaning in critical areas like operating rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in patient and public areas.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and functional.
- Communicate maintenance issues promptly to supervisors.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities for compliance.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, using PPE as needed.
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations effectively.
- Collaborate with cleaning and medical staff for a clean environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Cleaning Operative or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to management
