We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of **Care Assistant** and **Senior Care Assistant** to work days or nights to join our team here at **Sand Bay Care Home** based in **Weston Super-Mare.**

**Pay**: We have an excellent pay rate of £11.40 an hour for Care Assistants and we pay £12.50 for our Senior Care Assistants.

**Shift patterns**: We have day shifts which are 8am start and 8pm finish or if you prefer nights we have 8pm start and 8am finish.

**Hours**: We have part time or full time roles available. Some staff prefer to work 1-2 days a week, others prefer to work 3-4 days + a week.

**A warm welcome to Sand Bay Care Home**

Situated in North Somerset, this purposefully designed and refurbished residence stands as a well-equipped property in a seaside setting where we care for adults with dementia and other care needs.

The service is registered for 29 clients in total, with the ample availability of en-suite rooms each of which have been finished to a luxurious standard and equipped with a 24-hour alarm call system. Residents are encouraged to sprinkle their own touch to their rooms to create a comfortable and homely personal space.

The property has indulgently furnished lounges and a dining room to enjoy freshly prepared meals, providing warm meeting areas for residents to meet with their guests.

Outside there is a spacious garden and patio area, with the beach just a stones throw away, as well as the convenience of 15 car-parking spaces for both staff and guests.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided
