**The Role**
We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated and engaging individual to join our Town Build Team as a Delivery Coordinator. Reporting into the Delivery Manager you will have overall responsibility for a small team of office-based staff. Your role will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our Network Build projects are delivered on time as directed by the Delivery Manager. You will be the go-to person for everything involving the project’s organisation and timeline and this will be reflected through regular communication that will be used to bring the rest of the business and the Senior Leadership Team along on the journey.
As part of your role, you will be proactive in overcoming obstacles before the project enters build phase and ensure that the pipeline of works is well planned. Working with other departments and liaising with Town Build management team to ensure the Town Build output is accurately recorded and sufficiently reported to the rest of the business.
Alongside the Delivery Manager, you will be expected to organise the direct labour staff ensuring that job packs, material and system requirements are all managed. Therefore, previous experience in a similar role is essential. Effective communication and organisation skills are essential.
**Responsibilities**
- Raising Purchase Orders through Xero for suppliers/sub-contractors
- Organising internal team meetings to proactively plan works effectively between Town Build teams
- Implementing and updating trackers to monitor progress, tasks and information processing
- Working with the Delivery Manager to ensure:
- Forecasted works are within the resource/budget expectations
- Internal reporting through use of Company systems (e.g. Smartsheets, Render, Street Manager) to review productivity and information accuracy
- Monitoring and implementation of internal workflows
- Ensure pipeline of works are scheduled sufficiently and effectively o Working with other departments (e.g. Planning/Design) to ensure information processed is accurate and sufficient
- Co-ordinating effective communication throughout the team, ensuring efficient productivity throughout a build
- Resource Management of the internal build resource and project delivery function
- Organisation of the in-house resource (civils, cabling, splicing) to meet internal delivery expectations
- Responsible for all build related data and its integrity from the field to the Project team ensuring Smartsheet is updated daily
- Own the project delivery schedule with a keen focus on optimising internal resource deployment
- Providing information to the Project Manager for them to be able to monitor, report and escalate issues within projects
- Build and maintain relationships with the local council and work with the Project Manager on the overall council engagement
- Managing daily issues alongside the field management team (Suppliers / Supervisor / Gangs)
- Run daily stand-up calls to discuss commitments / projected forecasts & completions
- Working with the Delivery Manager to overview the workstack and report into the Project Manager
- Ensuring all Direct Labour have submitted all Risk Assessments daily via RENDER
- Ensure as-built information back from the field is coordinated across all relevant parties
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the delivery of FTTP build projects utilising direct labour resource (desirable but not essential as full training will be given)
- Well-developed organisational and planning skills including schedule, scope and resource management
