Geography Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a Geography teacher for a school in South West Manchester

Key Purpose

Education Solutions are working with a Secondary school located in Greater Manchester who are recruiting for a Geography teacher to join them after immediately until half term on a full-time basis. The position is a long term role to cover for sickness
The school are ideally looking for someone who has recent experience teaching geography up to GCSE level. You will also need to have good behaviour management skills, be committed to the position and be happy to attend staff meetings, department meetings andparents evenings.
The requirements of the role:
As the successful Teacher you will need to;
- Be a fully Qualified Teacher, with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS a PGCE, GTP or BEd.
- Have the ability to prepare, plan deliver and mark
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be happy to start teaching initially online and then return to the classroom once schools are open
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team
- Possess the passion to teach Key Stage 3 and 4.
