To undertake a range of routine and directed manual operations to ensure that Crewe Market Hall is maintained as a key asset of a Town Centre that is an accessible, clean, safe, lively and culturally rich place in which people want to spend time, do business and invest.

Your main role will be based at Crewe Market Hall, however you may be required to travel across the Northern Region on emergency holiday or absence cover if and when required.

**Duties**:

- Support the Market Manager in the delivery of all operational Market activity and enforcement of rules and regulations.
- Support the Market Manager in the delivery of all event activities.
- Collect, collate and maintain accurate records associated with the delivery of the Market and events in a confidential manner.
- Act as first point of contact with the public.
- Collect and bank stall rents and maintain banking records.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Market.
- Ensure the Market Estate is kept clean, tidy and well maintained on a daily basis.
- Undertake minor repair tasks, decoration and other special projects to enhance the Market and surrounding areas.
- Safely and effectively use a range of machinery and plant, including undertaking any necessary training as required
- Undertake the opening and closing of the Market Estate for normal daily operations, ensuring the security of the premises is maintained at all times.
- To undertake all company generic and job specific training as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £9.90 per hour
