**Overview**

**Duties**
- Handle materials and eggs with care, ensuring proper packing techniques are employed
- Grading of eggs by weight and quality, according to company standards
- Follow strict bio-security regulations as set out by the company
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all items meet company standards before shipment
- Operate machinery and equipment safely
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all packing materials are readily available
- Prepare trolleys and pallets of eggs ready for collection
- Record daily and weekly stocktakes of graded commercial and hatching eggs

**Skills**
- Having a positive attitude to your work
- Completing tasks quickly and efficiently
- Being meticulous and careful, with great attention to detail
- Always following instructions
- Having a keen sense of how to work safely and hygienically
- Having basic math skills
- Being familiar with packaging materials and techniques
- Ability to lift and manage physical demands of the role
- Knowledge of stock management practices is advantageous
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
