**Purpose of the Role**:
A multi-dimensional role coordinating the material flow management from the supply chain into the factory. Tasks will include running the Goods In office, giving help when required to kitting tasks, main stores consumables, and general stock management. The overall intent is to ensure all departments within operations have what they need to start on time and the factory flows during outlying shifts.
**Role Dimensions**:
- Ensure that all supported areas of manufacturing and build can begin on time and the shop floor can maintain momentum, ultimately delivering performance to the racetrack on schedule
- Minimize downtime of workshops by ensuring operators are never waiting for parts
- As a key liaison between manufacturing and planning, ensure all teams are aligned in the tracking and booking in of deliveries
- Work closely with the Planning Team to manage the priority of deliveries and kitting to projects
- Work closely with the Internal Logistics Manager and Shift leads to maintain the efficient in-flow of consumables, car parts, and raw material stock
**Principal Accountabilities**:
- Run the Goods in Office with a self-sufficient mindset
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of Goods in Yard
- Receive all delivered goods, book in all receipts, and distribute deliveries throughout the factory
- Support as required the DHL Express courier dispatch services
- Support the culture of Continuous Improvement for efficiency, speed and global visibility in all your work
- When required deliver kits in line with the Planning Project priorities to ensure each project starts on time
- When required progress chase kitting shortages with the Planning & Purchasing teams
- Support as required the movement, storage and archiving of Composite Laminating pattern & moulds
- When required complete store ops for all finished parts into M1 stores and store or distribute as required
- Work with the F1 Build Team to deliver a smooth flow of finished parts for each event
- Support as required the consumable stores stock with minimum stock reorder points
- When required highlight shortages and to enable the Shift Lead to create purchase requests to reorder any stock
- Support as required stock control across the factory
- Support as required Team tasks
- Support as required the department operating and meeting the company’s adherence to the cost cap regulations
- Provide briefs on the status of work you are involved with and provide management with a summary report when needed.
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- Knowledge of process development and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Experience with managing the delivery of quality components to extremely tight and demanding deadlines with conflicting priorities
- Proven track record of logistics and supply
- Knowledge of current car parts
- Has developed and participated in a team-oriented environment
- Brave and comfortable to try new things
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Javelin & Miles
