**Position Summary**:
The Cloud Hosting Infrastructure Operations Leader leads a complex IT service area, including systems and associated team. We have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Leader to join our team at our head office In Milton Hill, UK.

The incumbant has a crucial role to focus on business outcomes and business value to drive improvements in the cost and effectiveness of the Infrastructure service area whilst maintaining cyber and information security compliance. This includes follow-the-sun 24x7 data center hosting/management, on-premise hosting, azure cloud management, LAN/WAN, and unified communication services across global locations, including business centers, labs, and manufacturing plants.

Beyond technical expertise, you will provide strategic direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support a team of colleagues located at various geographic locations.

**Key Accountabilities: What we can expect from you**
- **Operational Management**: Ensure the service area meets daily business needs and is fit for the risk.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and motivate the team, prioritising resources for project and service delivery.
- **Service Governance**: Ensure governance, business prioritisation, and adherence to IT principles.
- **Capacity Management**: Manage hardware and software lifecycle, both on-premise and in the cloud.
- **Disaster Recovery**: Oversee global data center and cloud disaster recovery planning and testing.
- **Capability Development**: Develop team capabilities and manage vendor relationships to meet service levels.
- **Security Compliance**: Ensure compliance with security standards in collaboration with the cyber security team.
- **Business Engagement**: Maintain effective relationships with service owners and vendors. Oversight of outsourced service providers.
- **Technology Adoption**: Investigate and adopt new technologies relevant to the service area.
- **Strategic Planning**: Identify and address business needs and technology trends as outlined in a multi-year roadmap.

Technical skills relevant to the IT Infrastructure service areas covering:

- Data Center Management: Power, cooling and security across global sites.
- Network Services: LAN, Corporate WIFI, and security services (Cisco, Fortigate, Zscaler).
- Hosting and Cloud Services: On-premise (VMware/DELL/Windows) and cloud (Azure AD, Citrix Cloud, Microsoft Teams, Azure IaaS/PaaS).
- Communication and Collaboration: Mail services (MS Exchange), DNS, file, and print services.
- Backup and Recovery: On-premise and cloud solutions.
