This means that you’ll be based at a Thirteen site, primarily because you’re dealing with customers in-person or because you need access to key equipment. You probably won’t travel around the area for work very much and it’s unlikely that you’ll be expected or able to work from home._

**The Role**:
We are seeking to recruit a Property and Facilities Lead to join our team to lead and support the management of Thirteen’s property estate which includes over 180 retail units, 17 offices and 35 community buildings.

You will work as part of a team ensuring a high quality, effective service is provided to both internal and external customers. You’ll need to effectively co-ordinate a multi-disciplinary response to any issues within the commercial and corporate buildings, ensuring that service delivery meets our customer needs.

As Property and Facilities Lead, you’ll lead the day-to-day management of the portfolio of our properties. Duties include reactive and proactive maintenance, property inspections, tenancy check outs and tenancy deposit processing, organisation of safety testing and the compliance of the portfolio, relationship building with tenants, internal customers, landlords and much more.

**The Person**:
We’re a small team who all have vital roles in ensuring service is delivered therefore, you’ll be able to work well in a team environment with great communication skills, both verbal and written.

You’ll have experience and knowledge in commercial property and facilities management including lease negotiations, marketing of properties, contract management, office management and compliance/building safety.

We’re looking for a great team player, with exceptional time management skills, and someone who is confident to deliver, advise and make decisions on all areas of the role profile, including best practice and remaining up to date with legislation.

A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential. You’ll be expected to travel across the region, with occasional travel to Hull and beyond the Tees Valley when required.
