**Full Time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)**

**£21,000 - £24,000 per annum plus benefits**

Here at Serco, we are currently recruiting for an Estates Technical Support, this role will be responsible for supporting the Estates team to facilitate the delivery of projects and operational delivery to ensure Serco meets its contractual requirements, on time, on budget to an auditable standard.

Serco is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). This prestigious establishment is responsible for post-graduate education and the majority of the command, staff, leadership, Defence management, acquisition and technology training for members of the UK Armed Forces and MOD Civil Servants. Serco supports the DA as the MOD's primary link with UK universities and international military educational institutions.

**Main responsibilities of the role include**:

- Reception duties including booking in visitors, issuing keys to contractors, updating reception notice boards, and notifying CCO of contractor’s visits.
- Operation and administration of CAFM, closing down completed and CAFM work orders.
- Monitoring of target dates for work orders to prevent the potential risk of breaching SLAs.
- Complete any admin tasks for the team including plotting, printing, filing, O&M checks.
- Attending meetings, providing agenda and minutes to support the team.
- Updating team documents such as team training logs and templates.
- Administration of works process in compliance with Estate’s procedures.
- General administration duties such as typing, word processing, filing, photocopying, scanning and transmission of faxes.
- Production, amendment and maintenance of any assigned spreadsheets and databases.

**What you’ll need to do the role**:

- Good level of general education, preferable with GCSE’s (A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Ability to communicate at all levels, using a variety of communication methods (spoken, written, behaviour).
- Ability to work in a team environment or individually.
- Ability to proactively manage own workload.
- Proven organisation and problem-solving skills.
- It is a condition of employment that all employees obtain SC clearance.

The Defence Academy sits within a beautiful and secure site which hosts 2 lakes and is surrounded by acres of scenic woodland.
