Part-time Bookkeeper

We are seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our Garforth based office.
This is a new role based in the offices in Garforth, working closely with the Finance Manager and Office Sales Manager across various generalist accounts duties.
This role will involve using Xero primarily and Sage 50
**Key Bookkeeper Duties Include**:
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
- Creating and sending invoices to clients
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Preparing employee wages
- Managing employee expense claims
- Chasing outstanding invoices and sending statements
**Key Requirements for the Bookkeeper Role**:
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
- Professionalism and organization skills
- Confidence with mathematics
- General communication and customer service skills
