**Forest Nursery Workers Pay Rate**:

- **£9.50 - £17.94** per hour:

- Over 37.5 hours is £11.7 per hour
- Saturday, Sundays and public holidays are paid at £15.74 per hour
- (Post AWR is £10.18, over 37.5 hours is £13.45, Saturday, Sundays and public holidays £17.94 per hour)

**About the Forest Nursery Role**:

- The work at the nurseries involves field-based open nursery operations and polyhouse nursery operations, for the growing, tending, processing and supply of bare root and container grown forest transplants.
- Examples of the jobs to be undertaken by nursery workers are; lifting plants, grading plants, packing plants, chemical (gazelle) treatment, lining out seedlings and rooted cuttings, taking cuttings and hand weeding.
