**Service Advisor LCV - Bicester Dealership**

Cordwallis Group is a family-owned business who have been serving the London and Thames Valley areas for over 50 years. They offer a one stop shop for all things Commercial Vehicles, from sales to parts to contract hire with fully trained, knowledgeablestaff.

Due to steady growth over the last few years, they are recruiting for several roles throughout the UK both in the office and their workshop. Midas Personnel are currently recruiting on their behalf for a LCV Service Advisor to join the Bicester team.

**The Purpose of a Service Advisor**

To maximise service profitability using professional sales techniques, as well as maximising customer awareness of all available services, all whilst maintaining excellent standards of department administration. Reporting directly into the Service Manager.

**Responsibilities include**
- Ensure core process is followed for the service department
- To canvass for bookings for the workshop to fill available capacity via call out and outbound calls
- Report any likely delays to the customer to seek, record and communicate authority for any extra work required or parts to be ordered or fitted
- To correctly interpret customer or internal instructions and complete job cards/repair orders
- To promote additional workshop services/repairs where applicable
- To cost the work and raise cash invoices
- Adhere to and promote all customer satisfaction programmes
- To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interest.

**Essential Requirements**
- Previous Service Advisor role would be preferred
- Proven experience in a customer service role would be essential
- In-depth knowledge of the motor industry / Technical knowledge
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proactive approach to work
- Analytical skills including working with statistical and costing information

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

1 in 3 Saturday’s 8am-12pm
