At our Murrayfield Nursery in North Edinburgh, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our team. leading and supporting on of our busy babies room. Working a 38 hr week, we are offering a salary up to £30,173 depending on experience, with great benefits being offered too. Our Nursery is on excellent transport links, with buses stopping right outside the nursery.

As Head of Room you will:

- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
- Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
- Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the Curriculum for Excellence are met
- You will need to have a Level 3 / SCQF 7 Early Years Qualification, a minimum of 3 years working in a Nursery Setting and 1 years experience in a leadership role.

The Murrayfield Nursery is part of CC Nurseries and is based in Edinburgh, at our busy 90 place nursery we offer a home-from-home environment, led by our passionate and caring team, our nursery is filled with hand-picked resources (natural where possible) to encourage self-directed play and discovery. Outside we have a large, secure outdoor space including fire pit, fishpond and outdoor classroom, as well as a separate area for the youngest children, to enjoy fun.
