**About the role**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide technical ownership of the Jira and Confluence environments at Arm
- Coach, mentor and develop members of the support team
- Lead the team to resolve incidents, problems and fulfil requests within agreed SLAs utilising an ITIL framework
- Ensure that career and development plans for all team members are built and documented
- Provide Arm specific feedback on Jira or Confluence related technical proposals
- Feed into product decisions for Jira and Confluence to help drive the strategic objectives that Arm has for the platforms
- Provide technical input into developing the product backlog and collaboratively feed into planning sessions with the product team
- Set the vision and approach to ensure the platform/infrastructure is scalable, secure, accessible and performant
- Build a safe, high-trust environment where conflicts can be raised and resolved effectively
- Be a hands-on individual who is happy to get involved as necessary to help facilitate delivery.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Extensive experience as a Jira and Confluence admin within a large organisation managing Jira and Confluence Data Center
- Extensive experience as Linux System Administrator
- Solid understanding of the infrastructure requirements for Jira and Confluence Data Center
- Experience on writing and debugging bash or python scripts
- Experience of contributing to and improving governance processes around the management of Jira and Confluence
- Experience of working with and providing technical direction to 3rd party managed service providers
- Experience of working with ticketing systems to manage workload with ServiceNow experience desirable

- Completed certifications from Atlassian and any cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience of being the technical lead within an agile product team
- Sysadmin experience of Atlassian Bamboo
