**Level 3 Nursery Practitioner**

We are looking for full time level 3 practitioners required between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm Monday-Friday, all year round.

Subject to successful interview, DBS and reference checks.

Main Responsibilities:

- To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.
- To ensure that the setting is safe environment for children, staff and others.
- To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.

Main Activities:

- To provide a safe, caring stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors at all times.
- To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
- To work with other professionals in the local area for the benefit of children and families.
- To understand and work to the setting policies and procedures, including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies.
- To plan activities that ensure each child is making progress and support others to do so.
- To be a key person.

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**

**Education &Qualifications**
- Minimum level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.

**Experience/Knowledge**
- Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and current Ofsted statutory Guidance.
- Recent relevant experience.
- Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Empathy and understanding of children under 5 years.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with children and parents.
- Ability to write reports and keep clear accurate records.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Administrative and basic IT skills.
- Calm and caring nature.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Be able to work on own initiative.

- A commitment to quality in all areas, with high levels of motivation and enthusiasm.

**DESIRABLE CRITERIA**
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Safeguarding.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £6.56-£9.50 per hour
