**Job description**:
The Unit Fire Warden role is an essential business support function at 45 Cdo RM.
The Main Tasks involve:
- The delivery of fire safety duties, including inspection of fire extinguishers and fire warden tasks ensuring that Ministry of Defence policies and processes are followed.
- Provide administration support to the Unit Safety Health Environment & Fire Advisor.
- To carry out Checks and testing of all firefighting equipment held on RM Condor, also testing of Fire Alarm apparatus and subordinate sites.
- Upkeep of all fire equipment records camp wide
**Person specification**:
It is essential that you have experience in using computers including the use of Office 365 packages (or similar).
- Strong verbal communication skills
- the ability to present clear, evidence-based queries
- effective prioritisation of workload
- being a valued part of a small friendly team
- Experience in a Fire Safety Role including knowledge and use of fire extinguishers.
- an understanding of the principles of Fire Risk
