**Owner Driver - Furniture Deliveries (1-2 Days/Week)**
**Location**: Based near North Yorkshire (Nationwide deliveries)

**Job Type**: Part-time / Self-employed / Casual
**Pay**: Per day rate (to be agreed)

Chronology is a small, independent furniture company based in North Yorkshire. We’re looking for a professional, reliable **owner driver** to take on **occasional delivery runs**, usually around **1-2 days per week**, depending on our production schedule.

The Role:

- Collecting loads from our workshop in Brompton on Swale, North Yorkshire
- Delivering **medium to large furniture items** to customers across the UK
- Typically **10-15 drops per run**, grouped by region (e.g. South West, Midlands)
- Frequent travel around the UK with possible overnight stays.
- **Planning your own route** to ensure efficiency and timely deliveries
- **Liaising with customers** ahead of delivery (we’ll provide contact details)
- Loading and unloading carefully and respectfully—our products are high quality and handmade

You’ll Need:

- Your own **LWB van** (e.g. Sprinter/Transit size)
- **Goods in transit insurance**:

- A valid, clean UK driving licence
- Strong route planning skills and a good understanding of UK roads
- Friendly, professional communication—you're the face of our business on the doorstep
- Physical ability to move and lift furniture safely
- Flexibility for longer delivery days and occasional early starts

This role is perfect for someone self-employed looking to pick up **reliable, well-organised delivery work** a day or two per week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £250.00-£400.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)
- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
