**Technical Buyer/Materials Planner**

They require a Technical Buyer on a Permanent basis to oversee day-to-day operation of a multi product purchasing, stock and distribution facility serving world markets

**Key Duties Include.**
- Buy and Schedule materials and goods as required
- To process orders and monitor usages to ensure availability of materials for manufacturing
- Manage lead times for suppliers so production demands are met
- Cost benchmarking of consumable items
- Identify cost savings for specific materials
- Working with Manufacturing and distribution teams to coordinate planning of materials
- Monitoring inventory across functional areas to maintain supply to relevant areas and departments
- Preferably holds a Degree or Apprentice Trained within an Engineering discipline
- Ideally full or part CIPS qualified
