You’ll support the nursery team in supervising fun activities, caring for the children and keeping them safe and happy. As part of the team, you might take the children on a train to the Science Museum, hop on a bus to make friends at a nearbyLEYF nursery, or join in baking sessions with the children and your nursery chef. While entry qualifications aren’t necessary, if you want to learn more, we can help you get the training you need. Whether this is your first step into work oryou’re looking for a career change, age is no barrier.
**About the Nursery** “My nursery is like a family.” - O’Shana, Room Leader Based inside The Old Fire Station in Stoke Newington, close to Rectory Road station this nursery dedicated to different age groups, including a cosy room for babies. This nursery is a core part of the community supporting parents and children to success.

Rated Good by Ofsted, Fire Station Nursery & Pre-School provides Early Years education and childcare to children from birth to 5 years old. We’re based inside The Old Fire Station in Stoke Newington, close to Rectory Road station. We have spaces dedicated to different age groups, including a cosy room for babies. Our experienced team has worked together for many years. Every activity we do is designed to stimulate the children's curiosity. The children enjoy science, dialogic reading, cooking, yoga, 'feelings boxes' and much more They love to get outdoors too, visiting the local shops and exploring nearby Abney Park. Our on-site chef prepares all meals using healthy recipes from LEYF’s menu.
