This position is for a poultry farm worker on a family-run broiler-breeder farm near Ottery St Mary, Devon

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Caring for and feeding the livestock
- Collecting, grading and packing fertile eggs
- General equipment maintenance
- Biosecurity and welfare
- Additional roles and responsibilities available with on-site and external training

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience not essential, however an interest in agriculture and animals is necessary to ensure the wellbeing of the birds
- Good timekeeping is essential
- Strong communication and adaptability

**Hours and pay**:

- 06:30-15:00 shift pattern, 32-40 hours per week with potential for negotiation based on requirements
- £12.50 per hour starting wage for first month, to be discussed further following successful trial period, based on skills, experience and required training.
