**Job Purpose**
The appointment of a commercial buyer for Beaucare is a newly formed role which is aimed at increasing the capacity and capability of the Buying operations of Beaucare specifically focused on creating and evolving both a product strategy and supplier strategy for the business.
**Role**
The role will also represent the primary relationship with existing suppliers agreeing ways of working and range development together with introducing new supply partners that either grow the range or reduce suppler risk where limited alternate options exist.
Establishing close working relationships with the purchasing teams to ensure a common approach to stock holdings and the clean exit of discontinued and excess stocks as customer needs change.
**Required capabilities**:
Experience as a commercial buyer is essential and the ability to operate across multiple teams to achieve the buying needs of the business will be very important in this role.
The commercial buyer will need to be used to working at pace particularly where new products and ranges may be needed to support new customers on boarding.
The majority of items are sourced from the UK but a number of lines are sourced from Europe and the Far East and experience of international sourcing is required as it is envisaged direct sourcing will form a growing part of the role looking forward.

**Salary**: £40,000 (OTE up to £60,000 based on performance)
