We’re now looking for an experienced Head of SEO to lead our organic search strategy, elevate our SEO offering, and drive measurable performance for clients across diverse industries.

The Role

As Head of SEO, you will lead the agency’s SEO department, shaping and delivering cutting-edge organic search strategies that drive growth for our clients. You will be responsible for technical SEO, content optimisation, and performance analysis, ensuring every strategy delivers clear ROI and sustainable results.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, combining leadership of a talented team with direct involvement in client projects. You’ll also have opportunities to streamline agency processes and explore ways to improve team efficiency through technology solutions. You will work closely with colleagues across Digital PR, Copywriting, Development, UX, Paid Media, and Client Strategy to deliver a truly integrated approach

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of organic search strategies across multiple client accounts.
- Identify opportunities to grow clients’ share of voice, website visibility, and lead generation.
- Work with the team to develop client strategies that account for AI-driven search changes, including voice search, AI overviews, and evolving user search behaviours.
- Create and oversee project activity plans, roadmaps, and timelines to ensure delivery to the highest standard.
- Drive SEO best practice implementation, processes, and innovation within the agency.
- Deliver and oversee technical SEO audits, keyword research, backlink analysis, content optimisation, site speed improvements, on-page optimisation, and website migration support.
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance, compiling actionable insights and reports for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SEO is fully integrated into wider campaigns.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior SEO team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Look for opportunities to streamline repetitive SEO tasks and improve team workflows.
- Work with the team to implement process improvements and efficiency gains.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience leading SEO strategies within an agency or multi-client environment.
- Deep technical SEO expertise and up-to-date knowledge of search algorithms, tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strong track record in delivering measurable results and ROI for clients.
- Excellent understanding of keyword research, site audits, link-building strategies, and content optimisation.
- Skilled in using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills. - Analytical and process-minded approach with experience working with data and connecting different tools.
- Technical curiosity and problem-solving mindset - comfortable learning new systems and identifying workflow improvements.
- Any experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier, etc.) or basic scripting is a bonus, but enthusiasm to learn is more important.
