We are looking for a Ground Maintenance Operative to work for our client out of Ashford

**The Role**:

- grass cutting, border works and hedge cutting, setting out and marking sports field and related works.
- Always ensuring good customer care through support and communication with customers.
- Where required, responding to and supporting inclement weather works i.e. snow clearing or flooded areas.
- To deliver grounds maintenance works and related tasks on several sites
- This role requires a level of lone working and autonomy. As such the post holder will be comfortable working both alone and as a team, whilst being able to manage the requirements of their own workload - including administrative tasks.
- Good knowledge, approach and understanding of health and safety.

This role requires the successful applicant to undertake duties and precautions which relate to the health, safety and wellbeing issues outlined below. Please be aware of these, when considering your suitability for the role.

Noisy working environment (above 80d)
Repetitive limb movements
Working with machinery (including reports of vibration hazards)
Working with chemicals (Inc. requirement to wear latex gloves and Inc. work with CO2 or N2 gasses)
Potential exposure to asbestos or other dusts
Working at height

Prolonged physical/manual work/manual handling
Exposure to animals
Vocational driving on
- and off-site (includes use of cars, vans, ride-on mowers, buggies and tractors.)
Prolonged weather hazard exposure - wind/rain/snow/pollen/UV/sun

A current, clean driving licence and full DBS check (provided by the Company) is required.
