**Personal Care Assistant Required in Macclesfield, SK10**

**£10.42 per hour**

**Up to 10 hrs per week - Times and days to be discussed. Flexibility will be required**

**Purpose of the Job**

I am an 18 year old male with aspergers and struggle with social anxiety. I am looking for a personal assistant to work with me to improve my confidence in social settings. Due to my anxiety I would like my Personal Assistant to start by working with me in my house but hope that once I get to know you we can start going out together. I enjoy gaming, the family dog, digital art, golf and cooking and would like it with my personal assistant shared some of these interests.

**Personal Assistant Specification**

My assistant will need to be patient yet gently assertive in order for me to complete my routine and get to places on time.

My assistant will need to have access to their own vehicle with business insurance so that they can take me out.

My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable, must respect my privacy and maintain my dignity at all times.

My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition. You must be able to work well independently.

Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

**Supervision**

My personal assistant is accountable to me and my mum in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

**Main Duties**

To drive me to college when required

To support me with my daily routine

To support me to access social activities and support me to improve my confidence in these areas.

To support me with cooking

To support me to walk the family dog.

To support me with social support in the house

The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
