**FINANCE EXECUTIVE**

**Job Type**: Permanent, part time

**Location**:Central London (Bloomsbury)

**Hours**:21 hours per week; hybrid working option

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Finance Executive looking for a part time role to join FDF, the largest and most influential food and drink trade body in the UK. The FDF has been around for over one hundred years, representing and advocatingfor the UK food and drink manufacturing industry.

As a Finance Executive, you’ll be looking after the Sales and Purchase Ledgers and managing the Expenses system. You will be working as part of the Corporate Services Team supporting staff as well as a number of different Associations, preparing managementaccounts and completing statutory submissions such as VAT and Corporation Tax returns.

**Key responsibilities for the Finance Executive**
- Process invoices and credit notes
- Raise Sales Orders, setting up new suppliers in FocalPoint
- Credit Control using agreed escalation process
- Review, reconcile and close the Sales Ledger each month
- Reconcile the Purchase Ledger each month
- Process and review Credit Card and Out of Pocket expenses ensuring VAT claimed correctly
- Credit Card statement reconciliation and follow up outstanding credit card claims
- Inductions and training for staff on how to best use FocalPoint and the Expenses system
- Balance Sheet and sub ledger reconciliations
- Assist with the annual audit
- Provide monthly data for Finance Team KPI’s
- Update weekly cashflow forecast

**Requirements for the Finance Executive**
- Experience of working for a trade association or similar member-led organisation
- Experience of VAT
- Experience with Dimensions, FocalPoint, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- An understanding of accounts and banking procedures
- Good communicator and ability to build good working relationships
- Strong organisational skills
- Numerate with an analytical mind
- Diligent with a good attention to detail
