Bailey Employment Services Ltd are currently looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor for their reputable client based in the Bubwith area.

This is initially a 6 month contract, however there is a possibility it may lead to a permanent position.

The purpose of the role is to provide pro-active driver management through the supervising of the site driving staff, ensuring that the flow of work meets or exceeds the budget targets set, through motivating and giving direction to the drivers, so that a quality service is provided to all customers.

**Responsibilities**: Pro-active customer base management including the development of new customer business and through the careful management of customer relationships to ensure customer retention. Compliance within the department, to ensure that the vehicle fleet is compliant with relevant external authorities and that drivers are compliant with their legal responsibilities. Supervise and assist with all activities with regards to site vehicle collections To maintain and build customer relationships through liaison with customers and deal with any customer queries, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled to the highest standard and analysing the customer base to ensure customer loss is limited. Ensure that you understand and that drivers always comply with Health and Safety at Work regulations. Maintain high levels of transport practices. Supervise all aspects of transport activities to ensure best use of resources and that all drivers are working to maximum effect.

**Skills & Experience required**: Previous experience in a similar role is essential Excellent team player IT literate High attention to detail Enthusiastic and self-motivated Effective communicator Flexible Good people management skills Ability to work unsupervised and an own initiative

**Salary & Hours**: £13 per hour 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm ADDITIONAL BENEFITS & REQUIREMENTS 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Canteen Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
