This is a fantastic, varied position will work closely with leaders to ensure the smooth running, cleanliness and organisation of the hotel. Previous housekeeping and kitchen experience is preferable. Kitchen duties involve cooking breakfasts, food preparation, making sandwiches etc. This is a 37.5 hour position with a fantastic worklife balance, plus the opportunity for paid overtime on request.

The Buttermere Court hotel is situated within the small village of Buttermere boasting two other cafes and a quaint church. There is a second hotel opposite with two onsite restaurants and a scenic campsite to one side of the square with luxury yurts. The hotel is just a 25 minute drive from Keswick in one direction and 20 minutes from Cockermouth in the other; both with lots of shop, restaurants and attractions. The Buttermere Court Hotel is positioned between two of the most beautiful lakes - Buttermere on one side and Crummock Water on the other which are both just a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel sees a phenomenal number of tourists in the busy summer months and is quieter in the winter season. Due to its more remote location and limited public transportation, the position is recommended for someone who holds a driving license and has access to their own vehicle.
