Land Surveyor needed for a leading contractor based in Cumbria who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Land Surveyor that takes pride in their work with experience in surveying and setting-out complex and large projects.

**What the role entails**:
Some of the main duties of the Land Surveyor will include:

- Support the Lead Surveyor and undertake surveying duties as assigned by the Lead Surveyor to prioritise Engineering Surveying and setting out services demand on the project
- Surveying and setting out complex systems, including Civil, Mechanical and Piping Equipment
- Performing mathematical calculations and analysis to determine and confirm surveying measurements
- Prepare and maintain sketches, drawing and reports and ensuring timely submission of data to relevant stakeholders of as-built positional checks of the works

**What experience you need to be the successful **Land Surveyor**:

- Degree in surveying, geomatics, geospatial sciences or geophysics or similar
- Experience in surveying and setting-out complex and large projects
- Full knowledge of setting out large RC structures and mechanical process equipment
- Reasonable knowledge of AutoCAD, LSS, Leica Survey Equipment
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Engineering Surveyors would be helpful
- Possibly CSCS accreditation

**Due to the nature of this role you will be required to obtain BPSS**
