Driver Hire Uxbridge are now recruiting for HGV Cat C (Class 2) HIAB(grab) Drivers on behalf of our Client one of the UKs largest suppliers of building materials based in Hayes.

This role requires experience working on HIAB transport.

We are looking for HGV Class 2 (CAT C) HIAB drivers that can start as soon as possible.

For Insurance purposes you must have at least 1-year HGV Cat C (Class2) HIAB experience with no more than 6 points on your licence. No DD or DR convictions in the last 10 years.

You will carry out multidrop deliveries from their Hayes branch direct to local customers and you will be using a HIAB CRANE. You must make sure the vehicle is loaded properly and in line with road and transport legislation.

**RATES PAYE ONLY**:
Guaranteed 10hrs pay, breaks paid, overtime paid after 10 hours.

BETWEEN £17.00 AND £22.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE OVERTIME ETC

*standard Monday to Friday day rates;
higher rates for nights/ weekends etc

**Holiday pay is calculated at 12% out of the hourly rate.

**The ideal HGV Class 2 (CAT C) HIAB driver**:
A full HGV Cat C (Class2) licence (with valid CPC and TACHO) and Current HIAB Grab licence, although if your HIAB licence has expired we can re-new, for at least 2 years.

Ideally experienced in the operation of Hiab equipment, specifically crane experience trained by a recognised trainer (preferably remote)

Experience working within a Builder Merchant environment as a HIAB driver is an essential with an understanding of loading and strapping of materilas.
