PA to the CEO

**The Role**

Provide high-level full administrative and secretarial support to the CEO, ensuring the efficient management of day-to-day affairs, including the prioritisation of work, diary management, meetings management and communication. Handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner. Take initiative as appropriate especially in the Director’s absence.

You will be required to organise and prioritise workload according to deadlines and the changing needs of the business.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage CEO electronic diary, assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary.
- Manage CEO travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation).
- Process CEO correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondence is dealt with by the Director/or on behalf of the Director, or other staff as appropriate
- Assisting with administrative activities in connection with the CEO Projects
- Organising company events, team building days, good news celebrations
- Completing monthly company news letter
- Organising all conference, networking events and preparing all merchandise ready for each event
- Organise meetings and ensure the CEO is well prepared, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers. Record minutes of meetings when required
- Working to improve employee records and administrative processes
- Monitoring KPI’s and reporting to the Board.
- Monitoring regulation 44 reports and collating information.
- Chasing in signed contracts and policies and procedures as necessary
- Collating relevant company reports as requested
- Organising CEO calendar and appointment’s
- To Act as the point of contact among employees, clients, and other external parties
- To attend formal business meetings and young people meetings when required.
- To monitor and maintain office systems, including a cloud server and report to the CEO with any documents that may require signing.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Knowledge and appreciation of the importance of confidentiality
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- High understanding of Dignity and Diversity in the workplace
- Excellent typing skills, speed and accuracy essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Bright, confident personality
- Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised
- Experience / knowledge in the children’s residential setting and children’s home regulations would be an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £24,000.00 per year
