**Full Job Description**

**Job Summary: GOLF OPERATIONS ASSISTANT**

This is a full-time position working as part of a team of reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, the Golf Operations Assistant (GOA) will perform various administrative functions to ensure the smooth running of the office and providing a service to members. The GOA will also assist the Club Professional with general golf administration and in the Golf Shop selling green fees and merchandise.

**Key Duties**:

- Offer exceptional customer service at all times to members and visitors
- Coordinate and manage Club Diary. Eg. Meetings, society bookings and functions, including event management and planning in conjunction with the events and catering team.
- Liaise with hotel reception re golf and hotel tee bookings etc.
- Maintain general office files
- Coordinate usage of lockers
- Handle Petty Cash, daily and weekly cash reconciliation
- Process invoices and send to Accountants for payment
- Process New Members
- Assist in Golf Shop replenishing stock, selling merchandise and selling green fees
- Ensure all visitors/green fees are properly briefed about Health and Safety on the golf course
- Help to maintain constant communication to members through digital channels eg weekly newsletter
- Assist the Club Professional with the administration of golf competitions etc
- Dealing with telephone enquiries and taking manual tee bookings
- Acquaint yourself with all aspects of Health and Safety at the Club including Fire & Emergency policies
- Perform other relevant duties when needed

**Requirements**:

- Office administration experience.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
