Oxford International, Greenwich are recruiting for Activity Leaders. As an Activity Leader, you are an ambassador of the School with responsibility for running non-sport and sport activities, as well as additional excursions, all of which include exciting activities that help students get to know London and meet other students from all around the world.

Activity Leaders also have the opportunity to get creative, by suggesting new activity ideas, workshops and places to visit

We don’t require any qualifications, just enthusiasm, charisma and an interest in working with young people from across the world. We have groups throughout the year and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Initially, the role is offered on a part-time basis but for the right person can become a full-time position.

**Essential requirements for the role**:

- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Must be 18 or over
- Must have native level of English
- Strong communication skills and confident leading a group
- Great organisational skills and able to proactively plan ahead
- Flexible with hours of work and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to motivate groups of young people/students
- Able to demonstrate high levels of professional conduct
- Able to work collaboratively with others and contribute to team success
- Must demonstrate an understanding of the principles of equal opportunities, including respect for diversity and other cultures

**Desirable requirements for the role**:

- Experience working with 12-18 year olds
- Hold a valid first aid qualification and/or lifeguard certificate

As part of our Safer Recruitment Policy you will be asked to explain any gaps in your work and education history. All applicants who are offered employment will be required to undergo a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check. This will include details of cautions, reprimands or final warnings as well as convictions. You will also be asked to provide the contact details of at least 2 referees, who will be asked specifically if they have any concerns about your suitability to work with people under 18. Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK must be provided at interview stage._

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.05 per hour
