Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife is a local, quality, homecare provider who supports vulnerable adults to receive the care and companionship they need in their own home.

**Requirements of a Care Assistant**:

- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Have current right to work in the U.K - we do not have licence to issue CoS
- Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am) or evenings (from 4pm) and have availability at least every other weekend
- Commit to attending a 4-day training course
- Must be located in close proximity to Dundee, Angus and North Fife area as travel within these areas is required
- Have or be willing to obtain class 1 business vehicle insurance
- SVQ2/SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (preferred, not essential)
- Current registration with the Scottish Social Services council (preferred, not essential)

Applicants must be members or willing to become members of the Disclosure Scotland Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme (PVG) prior to commencing in post.

**Duties will include**:

- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation

Right at Home Dundee, Angus and North Fife currently covers the following areas: Dundee City, Broughty Ferry, Monifieth, Carnoustie, Arbroath, Inchture, Longforgan, Invergowrie, Wormit, Newport on Tay and Tayport so you must be based locally.
