Personal Care Assistant Females Preferred

_We have a young adult with learning and physical disabilities who is looking for 1-2 motivated females* to join our team of personal care assistants. She requires assistance with personal care, hoisting and transport for her day opportunities._
- Must be confident in driving a ford transit size mobility vehicle so requires the ability to drive and hold a full valid driving licence.
Minimum of 3 hours a day Monday to Friday with the occasional one day on a weekend._

We are recruiting Community Support Workers to join our team across Central Bedfordshire.

We are Looking for people who share our passion for supporting people with a diagnosis of Learning disabilities and Autism within the community who require support to access the community.

Previous experience is essential so we can provide high-quality care. As a company we pride ourselves on training and will ensure you have the training required for the role. We provide appropriate training and support for you to achieve further vocational qualifications and progress within this sector.

Key responsibilities
- To be flexible, provide a person-centred and high quality service for all people we support. We support older persons and adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
- To ensure that all staff work in a positive, person-centred manner at all times. To ensure that a respectful and empowering approach is taken to supporting people
- Report and record accurately the events of the day. To ensure the service is compliant with the contract and regulatory specifications, alongside organisational monitoring and evaluation requirements.
- To develop and sustain warm and transparent relationships with people we support that promote health, wellbeing and independence.
- To ensure that medication is administered and recorded as prescribed. To manage safe procedures for the collection, storage and administration of medication in accordance with organisational policy and procedure.
- Provide support to enable people we support to access the community for leisure, education and work as part of their outcomes.

The people we are supporting have a flexible approach to the support they need and this flexibility in times can help you to balance the hours that you are able to work and build a relationship with each person.
- Some of the roles require a driving licence and your ability to drive the mobility vehicle

**Job Type**: We support people within thir own homes, you will be able to choose the amount of hours you work from a few hours a week to full time.

**Salary**: £10.50 - £11.00 per hour depending on experience
