The role duties include overseeing the ELL’s supply chains, ensuring timely delivery and keeping the division on budget As our Supply Chain Analyst, you will provide expert technical guidance to colleagues in the supply chain department and internal stakeholders. You will demonstrate deep expertise and knowledge of best practices in supply chain and vendor management providingexpertise to ELL senior management team. In addition, you will solve problems by using your expertise to evaluate multiple sources of information, and creating innovative solutions. You will forge powerful relationships with colleagues across operational teams to enable ELL to realise our visionto be the educational leader in providing high quality products and services that help individuals to succeed in their lives. **Your key responsibilities** **1. Service delivery and continuous improvement.** - Improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. They use interpersonal and problem-solvingskills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. - Develop and execute projects working closely with the ILC (Integrated Logistic Centre) to enhance ELL’s supply chain operations. **2. Vendor management** - Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the value chain and vendors. - Assess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standards. - Measure supply chain performance and report to management. - Work with the procurement, integrated logistics centre and IT departments to enhance service delivery. **3 Leadership** - Leads through providing technical direction across the business contributing towards the achievement of substantial projects, operational or customer objectives - Communicates their point of view in a compelling way and with expertise across a wide range of projects and internal/ external stakeholders - Negotiates internally at senior levels regarding important issues within the operations area **About you** - Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role within a large global organisation - Clear experience of vendor management - Strong stakeholder management skills - Adaptability - Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures. - Aligning Performance for Success - Focusing and guiding others in accomplishing OKRs. - Decision Making - Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking actionthat is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences. - Facilitating Change - Encouraging others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; facilitating the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace. **About your benefits and rewards** Here at Pearson we know you will work hard and we want to reward you with a great package and a fantastic range of benefits to choose from: - A competitive salary - 25 Days annual leave (increases by 1 each year with every year of continuous service up to 30 days).
