We are delighted to be working in partnership with Ashford Borough Council - a local authority like no other in the county. - Based in a busy Monitoring Centre department for approximately 12-weeks, the main focus will be to work as part of a team, on a rota basis, in the Council's 24 hour monitoring centre, being responsible for providing cover across the Council's CCTV, Lifeline and Out of Hours services.- To respond and prioritise emergency tele-care calls by operating computerised call handling equipment; - To operate the out of hour's service in accordance with procedures; - To operate the CCTV system in accordance with procedures and current legislation; - To act as Controller of the Town Net Radio and to respond to the police radio when required; - To provide the highest standard of customer service, maintaining confidentiality at all times; - To maintain comprehensive records of all activities and communications in response to each request or incident management. If you have a background from a busy call centre environment where you are familiar working under pressure and providing a high-quality services, have a "can-do" and empathetic attitude with excellent IT and communication skills then call me today. A SIA licence would be favourable. - Working hours are based on 12 hours shift patterns on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays, days and nights.
