Unique School Solutions work with several primary schools in Sheffield and are currently seeking experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to work on long-term, full-time, temporary to permanent assignments starting in September.

We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants who have previously worked supporting SEND students on a 1:1 basis, ideally in a primary school environment.

Applications are welcomed from those that have worked in special needs schools or mainstream schools supporting children with additional needs.

We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant and are looking for a new challenge.

**About the role**
- Supporting the students in their learning and supporting in the delivery of the curriculum
- Adapting learning to meet the needs of the student
- To work in partnership with the team to ensure the very best standard of education is delivered to the children.
- To liaise with external agencies and parent / carers when required
- To be a part of the wider school community when required
- Be available to start a full-time position in September
- Be Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualified (or equivalent)
- Have previous and recent experience supporting as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
- Be confident working with children with SEND including Autism & ADHD
- Have good classroom management skills.

**Salary**: From £75.00 per day

- Sheffield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- recent SEND Teaching Assistant: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent (required)
