**SHE Advisor - Newton Abbot**

A top tier contractor are looking for a SHE specialist to join their major projects team in Newton Abbot.

You will be a part of the construction team, providing support to the whole team on best Health & Safety practices throughout the site.

**Duties will include**:

- Carry out regular audits, inspections and visits
- Carry out SHE tasks that are required to maintain company policies and procedures
- Advise on the practical implementation of CDM, Safe Systems of Work, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental Management Plans and Wellbeing strategies.
- Accident reports for reportable accidents
- Send reports to the SHE Manager and Project Director/Manager
- Conducting advisory look ahead meetings.
- Recent and relevant experience within a similar role, within construction
- A positive approach to SHE and working life in general
- A proactive approach to resolving issues, challenges, finding effective and practical solutions.
