Veterinary Assistant

My client, a thriving independent veterinary practice, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistantto join their team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting veterinarians with routine and emergency care
- Preparing and cleaning examination and surgical areas
- Monitoring and caring for in-patient animals
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for animals and staff
- Assisting with administrative duties at the front desk when needed, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping of patient details and treatment
- Delivering excellent customer service to clients

**Qualifications**:

- Previous veterinary experience required
- A passion for animal care and welfare
- Strong communication and organizational skills

**Salary**: £23,000 - £25,000 annually DOE
**Hours**: 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday
