**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a EHCP Coordinator to join The Bedford College Group at our Dunstable Campus.
As an EHCP Coordinator, you play an important role in the success of our students:
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) receiving High Needs Funding (HNF).
- Undertaking students’ annual reviews in line with statutory duties
- Undertaking training across curriculum areas to support the needs of students with EHCP and HNF
- Marinating close links with curriculum areas to support and review students’ progress on an ongoing basis
- Supporting students’ transition into college and to support progression opportunities in line with student aspirations
**About you**:
- English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
- Experience of working with young people with SEND whom are supported through EHCP
- Experience of working with a range of young people with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities within a supporting capacity
- Experience of leading meetings with students, parents/carers and professionals
- Experience of working in a further education or related setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding, equality and diversity issues in education
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and in writing with students, staff, parents and external agencies
- Excellent IT, administrative and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work with a diverse student group
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate consistently high levels of job performance
